Writing about writing.

For the first time in probably two years, I'm trying to write something that's not crack. While I don't think the fic's going to be boring when it's read, it's reeeaaallly boring to write, mostly because:
(a) I've researched these events to the point where I feel like I'm typing out a very interesting history book, and
(b) there's no big surprises for me.

That's half the fun of crack; you don't have to plot out EVERY scene, don't need to have "this MUST happen at THIS time on THIS day," and don't have any rigid outline. If I want to put in a random scene where Character X and Character Y go cow tipping, I'm damn well gonna write in their cow tipping adventure.

In other news, I talked to the suitemate about having sex in the shower and how we can hear every "oh baby" and "RRRUUUAAAGH" (that'd be her boyfriend and it's a really funny sound) that goes on. She said she'd stop! I Am Proud Of Myself! \o/

Oh you can still have the boys cow tipping. I'm Dean saw like, Heathers as a teen and always wanted to try it. And Castiel just goes along, rolling his eyes.

We both know I'm a terrible, terrible influence.

Because there are so many cows in New York.

And yes, yes you are.

Well not in the city but I'm sure there were farms around in 1835. Yeah, I'm not even trying to help anymore. COME SAVE ME FROM THE LAST MINUTE TAX PEOPLE!!

*pretends to be doing actual library work*
