Hmm. That's a very good point, considering how weppy and clinging to her dad she was at the end. Not to mention the fear of being alone and the lil' girls coming out for the actual hand-grabbing and escape from The Witch.
I'd say a part of her is trapped at thirteen, but she still remembers her time with The Witch, and that would make a thirteen-year-old grow up VERY fast, with the trauma and twisting. Not to mention during all her 'conferences', she's a lot more eloquent than in the flashbacks. So I'd say emotionally, she's stuck at thirteen, but is mentally and physically aware of her real age and acts accordingly to it.
And I went all English major on you. But you asked for it, so I don't feel so bad about it!
